Would you rather spread the cost? No problem! You can pay for your driving lesson package in up to 5 monthly instalments. Each package shows how many monthly instalments are possible.
- An administration fee of €8 applies per instalment.
- The final instalment must be paid in full no later than 1 week before your test date.
Please note: paying in instalments is not possible for intensive packages.

What is included in a driving lesson package?
A driving lesson package at Rijbewijs Helden consists of the agreed number of 50-minute driving lessons and the CBR practical test. The price always includes VAT. The theory test and any extra lessons are not included as standard, but can be added separately.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes, with the standard packages you can spread the cost over up to 5 monthly instalments; each package shows how many instalments are possible. We charge an administration fee of €8 per instalment. The final instalment must be paid in full no later than 1 week before your test date. Unfortunately, paying in instalments is not possible for intensive packages.
What if I fail my driving test?
Then you choose a retest package: from Herstart (7 lessons + practical test, €800) to Afmaker (18 lessons + practical test, €1,400). Together we go through the examiner's feedback and decide which package suits you. You can find all retest packages under the Retest tab in the overview on this page.
What is the difference between a standard and an intensive package?
With a standard package you schedule lessons at your own pace, with more time between lessons. An intensive package is for when you want to get your driving licence quickly: lessons are scheduled more intensively and the test is booked sooner. Intensive packages have a higher rate because of the priority scheduling.
How long is a driving lesson?
A driving lesson at Rijbewijs Helden lasts 50 minutes as standard. This excludes any short debrief at the end of the lesson.
Can I buy extra lessons if my package is not enough?
Yes, single lessons can always be added. A single lesson costs €65 (standard) or €70 (intensive). Your instructor will discuss with you when extra lessons are needed.
What is a trial lesson and what does it involve?
A trial lesson is a 50-minute first introduction to your instructor and to driving. You find out how you drive, what you still need to learn and which package suits you best. A trial lesson costs €50.
Is the CBR test included in the package price?
Yes, the CBR practical test is included as standard in our driving lesson packages. You do not have to pay any separate booking fees for it.
